I've made no epithical arguments nor personal attacks against Dr. Zamboni. And unfortunately the truth about reality is never democratic: please don't erect stawmen for you to refute with wibble on my behalf (it makes me very cranky). I merely state the facts. Your emotional reaction to the lack of evidence to support your assertion is noted. How am I being undemocratic? What am I being if I'm not? Please think before you post.
As a matter of interest, have you heard that two of his patients have died and that most of them, including his wife, are unavailable for falsification? So my "opinion" is neither here nor there where it concerns truth pertaining to my health. Since you assert without evidence that he did indeed find something, apparently "fact" according to you, can you please point me toward the evidence you personally have so I may share with you in this marvel of medical achievement? Please enlighten and educate me. Dr. Zamboni has also failed to do proper double blind studies which makes all his data useless. And need I say that testing an unproven hypothisis on anyone, nevermind a family member, is completely unethical.
I don't feel sorry that I demand evidence for anything in my life and I don't feel your claim that my skepticism is "negative" is a valid complaint. It is rather the contrary as I seek the end to mine and every others' suffering and that means what ever is in the best interest of MS research. Moreover, rational and critical thought demands skepticism in this case and it is down right justified.
I'm sorry, I just don't see how diverting resources to improper, unproven research is going to benifit MS patients (ie. me). Can you please explain how this movement you are pushing in my face will benifit me or any other MS patient in medical terms?
This is all positive, genuine questioning of unvalidated hypothesis. If you are that eager to belive it is a cure than I do think your pity for me is dearly misplaced.
