Migraine More Common in Women with MS

Women with MS are found to suffer from migraine more frequently than those who don’t. According to research to be presented at the April 2010 American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting in Toronto, Canada, women with a migraine diagnosis were more likely to develop MS than other women however, whether migraine is a risk factor for developing MS or is an associated condition remains unclear.
