A recent study, published in the November 10th issue of Neurology, suggests that women who were obese at the age of 18 had a 2.25 times greater risk of developing MS later in life.
The study included over 238,000 women from the ages of 25 and 55 years old. Women were considered obese with a body mass index over 30.
