Bringing the MS Community to You
Let the community know how you're feeling
Copaxone is given by injection. The fear of needles some people have is a normal reaction to a new experience. But to receive the benefits of Copaxone, daily injection is necessary.
Fortunately, with some practice, self-injection is much less scary than you might think. There are many conditions, such as diabetes, that require long-term daily injections. In return, patients get the promise of a more normal daily life.
The best way to overcome a fear of needles is to become familiar with the self-injection process. Injections can be given either manually or using an auto-inject device.
