Look how far you've come
Even though you may not be aware of it, you’ve come a long way toward controlling your multiple sclerosis (MS) over the past few years. You have not only learned about your MS, you’ve probably mastered self-injection and developed the discipline to do it every day. Along the way, you have likely had good days and bad days and, at times, doubts about continuing your Copaxone therapy – especially those times when you felt particularly well and healthy.
Remind yourself that MS is not a short-lived illness. Copaxone works to control the underlying disease process so that it reduces the relapses you would otherwise experience. What that means to you is that the present state of your MS – even if you’ve had a relapse – is better than what it might have been without treatment.
